Setting Time

When Social Networks, Blogs, Free Advertising, and the rest involved with Internet Marketing seems to get out of hand and you can't quite grasp where to begin because you feel like you have fallen behind, no worries.

Set a time schedule for your work, not so much of a list of to dos. After you have decided which marketing techniques you will be using, then decide not exactly what you will accomplish each day, but how much time you have to spend on each method each day.

This will lesson the sense of "I can't possibly get all this done" sort of thing that happens when faced with multiple tasks like with Internet Marketers or rather, People who Market on the Internet :)

Setting time limits for Social Networks can greatly ease your feelings of "But, I need to spend time on Blogs, or Free Ads too". Say hello to your friends, check your messages and comments and then go visit with your friends or on their pages or groups, but set a time limit for each social network per day that you visit it :)

Setting tasks for yourself like I need to see all of my friends everywhere everyday may be something that you would like to do and may be something you can accomplish if you are focused on a few select social networks. If this is something that you would like to do, set your visited networks to the few you like best and this should be easier to manage.

Judge what is important to you and (if it applies) your business, and set your time to anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours a day on each network depending on your time constraints. And then weigh out the other sites. Can you live with only visiting them once a week or so? Once a month?

Prioritize your social networks making a list of them and rate each one using friends, fun level, applications, interaction with others, news, information, groups, and if you are interested in blogging look at the blog capabilities of that site. Peruse your list and then choose your top two or three sites to be your primary social network sites.

Then, it is all timed out. Set time limits for each marketing system, each social network, and each blog site you are a member of and if you plug along the times may get changed as you wish to spend more at one and less at another, but you will be less likely to get overwhelmed setting time limits instead of setting to do lists :)

Getting Into A Routine To Get Googled

Getting into a routine after you have started marketing your personal business can be as easy as doing it all right from the beginning. Sometimes we get lost or sidetracked and can't decide where to begin once we get back to it. If you get off track for a while, then no worries getting right back into it all.

Taking a survey of what you already have going, separated into Social Networks, Blogs, Free Advertising Sites, Capture Pages, Autoresponders, SoloAd Sites, Manual Traffic Sites, and then whatever else you have. Categorize it all into what is first costing you money each month, then the free things you like to do and are showing results, then, lump the other stuff over to side at first (you can sort through this all later).

Start your sorting with the things that you pay for each month. Ask yourself "Am I Using This Presently?" If so, then it's a keeper right now, if not, Are You Wanting To Use This? Then it should be placed at a high priority status for you and be sure to get busy with it within the week. Again, if thats not possible, then, maybe you should cut that one for now until you can properly use it. No need to spend money on things that are not helping your business grow.

Then, look over the methods that have produced results in the past or at present. Think about spending more time with these things and a bit less on the other methods you have tried, but either took a lot of time to complete, or you just did not get the results you wanted.

Google yourself and see what things come up on the first pages. Especially if you do not spend a lot of time on these items, I would consider placing them higher on your to do lists for the day. If with a little effort, these ways to market are in the forefront, then with a bit more effort, they may prove to be quite useful in your marketing systems :)

Enjoy,
