Google Lively Petition Awareness Livelyzens

I wanted to post this information for the Google Lively fans out there (Yes, I am one :) Check out Solum on Blog Talk Radio as this is who sent me this message:

The Livelyzens (Lively users) are coming together to appeal to Google to keep Lively alive. Lively is a great platform for interaction as well as creativity. It is easy to use, browser based, embeddable on webpages to bring a 3D experience right on your website.

While Lively has been in beta and has limited capability in terms of the objects and avatars available, the Livelyzens have been able to come up with very creative ways to create art from what is available. All this in a 3D world thanks to Google's vigilance in getting rid of rooms with inappropriate content. More than anything, Lively has become a place to make friends for life – from all over the world with wonderful people.

Please visit our website http://livelyzens.com and participate in the Lively Machinima contest we are conducting to show the creative potential of Google Lively.

Please also sign our online petition http://livelyzens.com/petition.aspx We kindly request netizens to support us in reviving a wonderful 3D world that is a kid friendly and a creative space for art and interaction amongst adults.

Everyone go check out the site and sign the petition! We did :) Blogs and Social Networks Blog Talk Radio with Stevie and Stephanie Haile aka Blogheiress and Wavecritter :)

Google Me Nutcracker Suite

THE NUTCRACKER SUITE Tchaikovsky - Disney FANTASIA

"The Nutcracker Suite: An ode to nature based on Tchaikowsky's six dances. Each dance is performed by the most unlikely dancers. Fairies, goldfish, thistles and many more perform the dances, but best of all is Art Babbit's Chinese Dance sequence, with mushrooms. The highlight of the sequence is Hob Low, a little mushroom who seems to lag behind the rest of the impeccable act. Brilliantly animated by Babbit, one of the best sequences in the movie." SEE MORE

Goodbye Google Lively

Goodbye Google Lively from Wavecritterz! :)

I had to say Goodbye to one of the greatest Internet concepts to grace the stage, Google Lively :) I have enjoyed Google Lively as I know many fans of Google Labs products have. I also completely understand the ending as the creation, existence, and new beginnings of a plethora of Virtual Worlds unfold into the vast reaches of the World Wide Web.

Here is part of the post from the Official Google Blog:

"That's why, despite all the virtual high fives and creative rooms everyone has enjoyed in the last four and a half months, we've decided to shut Lively down at the end of the year. It has been a tough decision, but we want to ensure that we prioritize our resources and focus more on our core search, ads and apps business. Lively.com will be discontinued at the end of December, and everyone who has worked on the project will then move on to other teams.

We'd encourage all Lively users to capture your hard work by taking videos and screenshots of your rooms.

We just completed Blogs and Social Networks Virtual Worlds Online Radio show and is recorded to listen in anytime.

For those of you who have not been to visit Google Lively yet, you do have until December 31st to take a peek or check out these screen shots. I went and spent some time to capture some memories:
